The CBI-USMA aims to contribute to ensuring respect for the dignity, integrity and identity of human beings in the fields of biological and genetic experimentation and scientific or social research, in order to protect the rights, safety and well-being of current and potential research participants, ensuring that the benefits of research are equitably distributed among groups and classes in society, as well as safeguarding the relevance and scientific correctness of the research protocol submitted for consideration.
